Domestic Relations Information

The Domestic Relations offices will continue to maintain regular hours and judicial services as best possible, but also limit personal appearances where possible. Cases will continue as scheduled by either parties appearing in person, by phone or by ZOOM. Parties may call (937) 547-7325 or email the Court at regarding questions on cases, proceedure for hearings, or to update contact information.


Pretrials, Settlement Conferences, Emergency Orders, and any other matters will be conducted by either phone or ZOOM. If you are represented by counsel, contact your attorney for more information. If you not represented by an attorney, please contact the Court to provide your email and phone number so you can appear by either phone or ZOOM.


Final Hearing Proceedure:

1. Many final hearings will be conducted by phone or ZOOM. Please contact the Common Pleas Court with updated contact information to ensure all parties appear for the final hearing.

2. Divorces and Dissolutions with Children are still expected to complete the mandatory parenting class. An online option is now on our website to ensure all parties are able to complete the class prior to the final hearing date. Please email certificates to prior to the final hearing date to be filed.

3. A Waiver of Magistrates Decision will need to be filed prior to final hearings for Dissolutions. Please print the Waiver of Magistrate's Decision located under the Domestic Relations Rules tab and either mail in or email document to prior to the final hearing date.

4. The Decree of Divorce or Dissolution will be signed by the Judge and Magistrate after the final hearing and mailed to the parties after being filed by the Clerk of Courts.
